What the hell are you talking about? That might be the question that comes to mind when ordering western lampshades and rawhide lamp shades spare. It can be very frustrating because people different setup screens by different rules.
The whole ordering process is compounded by telephone conversations and Internet orders. If you realize how you should measure a shade to achieve a proper fit and also communicate the right size, it will avoid problems and get the screen of the lamp that you are expecting.
If the shadow is of rawhide or not is not important, there are important tips you should use to properly measure and order a shadow and the proper description that would ensure that the person receiving your application is on the same track. The correct way to measure:
1. You need to have three different measurements bottom diameter, top diameter and height. The bottom diameter is always measured in the bottom of the lampshade. The diameter of the top is measured through the upper opening of the shade. The screen height should be measured straight up and down vertically, not along the slope.
