The most difficult part of this installation is removing the orrigional tail gate. Installation is simple and convenient. Looks very nice in use.

FOR ALL RESPECTIVE PURPOSES, THIS LOOKS LIKE IT WOULD BE NICE BUT THE DESCRIPTORS WERE NOT CLEAR AND IT DOESN'T FIT OUR FULL SIZE CHEVY Z71 TRUCK SO HAD TO RETURN IT.
Turbo Net

The Turbo Net is excellent; easy install, solid gate feel (for a net). The only weakness is that once the net is in, the gap between the edge of the net and the sides of the truck is larger than I would have liked. On the other hand, the quick release feature allow me to drop the gate, quickly and easily, to hitch to the 5th wheel. I am looking to get another for my Tundra.
Good gate for the bucks

The Turbo Tailgate Net was easy to install and adjust to fit. The quick disconects makes it simple to remove when necessary.
I installed it in a GMC Sierra 2500HD, which has tall bed sides. The width fits well, however, the height is about 3" shorter than the factory tailgate. That's not a problem for me, but could bother some peoples aesthetics.
Overall a very good tailgate for the bucks. |
Not wide enough

The illustrations show the net going from one side to another without much of a gap. The fact is the net has a gap 5 inches or more on each side. That is unacceptable. Had the illustration been factual, I would never have bought one. I returned mine.
